Corporate
Social Responsibility
At Simply Play, we believe that a successful business is one that contributes positively to our community and environment. Our commitment to corporate social responsibility is reflected in our everyday practices and initiatives.
At Simply Play, we’re dedicated to supporting our community and the environment through meaningful partnerships. That’s why we host a year-round shoe drive in collaboration with Bridging Cultures, a local organization that fosters equity and connection in our community. Bridging Cultures offers essential programs like ESL classes, a community garden, disaster resilience education, and resources for migrant farmworkers. Through the shoe drive, we raise funds to support these impactful initiatives while promoting sustainability by recycling gently used shoes, keeping them out of landfills, and giving them a second life. Together, we’re making a difference for people and the planet!
First Thursday
At Simply Play, we’re proud to contribute to our community through our involvement in revitalizing the First Thursday event in Canby. By expanding this local tradition, we’re not only enhancing the vibrancy of our town but also supporting local businesses and cultural enrichment. Our commitment to community engagement shines through as we work to create a dynamic, inclusive experience that benefits everyone. Join us in celebrating and supporting our local economy and culture through this exciting community initiative!
Simply Play is a proud sponsor of the Trost Elementary School PTA. Our sponsorships have included BINGO Night, Movie Night, Monthly Meetings and more!
At Simply Play, we’re honored to support adoptive families through our partnership with the Oregon Post Adoption Resource Center (ORPARC). During National Adoption Month, we donate free entry passes, inviting families to enjoy a day of connection and fun in our playground. We believe in the power of play and movement to heal and strengthen relationships and it’s our privilege to contribute to their journey of love and resilience!
We were proud to sponsor an outdoor family play space at Canby Pride this year. Kids and adults alike loved playing with the giant jenga, cornhole, axe throwing, chalk and other fun activities we set up at this wonderful event.
We have partnered with the Canby Public Library for their free summer reading program. Every child that completes their summer reading challenge will receive a free entry pass to Simply Play!
In partnership with Skye Vending, a portion of the proceeds from our claw machine and Pokeball dispenser are donated to the local non-profit: Rose City Game Organization.

RCGO works to increase access to tabletop gaming for children age 8-18, with an emphasis on disadvantaged communities in the Portland area, by supporting gaming clubs in schools and extracurricular organizations.
Tabletop gaming provides a healthy social environment, offers opportunities for learning through alternative educational modalities, and has the power to enrich lives.
Clothing Swap
At Simply Play, we’re excited to host our quarterly clothing swap events, which reflect our commitment to sustainability and community. By providing a platform for exchanging gently used clothing, we help reduce waste and promote eco-friendly practices. These events also bring our community together, offering a fun and cost-effective way to refresh wardrobes while supporting local causes. Join us in making a positive impact on both the environment and our community!
